SRINAGAR, July 10: Army organised a medical and veterinary camp to provide on spot treatment, free medicines and specialist advice to Awra village and surrounding areas in Kupwara.
A defence spokesman said a joint medical team of five Army doctors and two civil doctors from the Department of Medicine examined the patients during the medical camp.
“A total of 1865 general patients and 312 dental patients were treated and 1189 animals were examined under the veterinary camp,” the spokesman said.
