Sugar prices remain flat in thin trade

NEW DELHI, July 12:  The wholesale sugar market closed on a steady with prices after moving in a tight range in the absence of worthwhile activity, closed at previous levels in the national capital today.
Traders said increased supplies from millers also helped the sweetner prices to remain steady.
Sugar retail markets ( in Rs per kilo) – Rs 38.00-40.00 per kg.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal)
Sugar ready: M-30 (Rs 3,420-3,500); S-30(Rs 3,410-3,480).
Mill delivery: M-30 (Rs 3,260-3,350);
S-30(Rs.3,240-3,330).
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana (Rs 3,290); Kinnoni (Rs 3,350); Asmoli (Rs 3,325); Dorala (Rs 3,320); Budhana (Rs 3,275); Thanabhavan (Rs 3,265); Dhanora (Rs.3,270); Simbholi (Rs 3,270); Modi Nagar (Rs 3,270); Khatuli (Rs 3,355); Dhampur (Rs 3,250); Ramala (Rs 3290); Bulandshahr (Rs 3,240); Anupshahr (Rs 3,260); Baghpat (Rs 3,300); Morna (Rs 3,290); Sakoti (Rs 3,240); Chandpur (Rs 3,240) and Nazibabad (Rs 3,280).
