JAMMU, July 14: A four week long UGC —General Orientation Course for University and College Teachers organized by the Academic Staff College, University of Jammu in collaboration with Department of History concluded here today.
Around 35 University and College Teachers both from within and outside the State participated in the GOC.
In her address, Prof Posh Charak, Dean Research Studies and chief guest on the occasion, appreciated the Staff College for providing all necessary facilities to the participants for undergoing the course.
Earlier Prof Rajender Gupta, Director ASC, spoke about the various areas of study and resource persons that were covered in the one month long course.
Prof Shalendra Singh Jamwal, HoD History and course Incharge presented a brief report about the proceedings.
In the concluding session, participants also shared their experiences and gave their remarks on various sessions of the orientation course.
Ranjeet Kalra, Assistant Director ASC, presented formal vote of thanks.
Among others, present on the occasion, include Dr Sham Narayan Lal, faculty and staff of History and Academic Staff College.
