JAMMU, July 13: A boy was killed in an incident of accidental firing by his eight years old brother, when he was fiddling with his father’s gun in their house at Jabbi Toti Dhok in Mandi area of Poonch district this afternoon.
The victim has been identified as Umer Gul, 13, son of Khan Ali Choudhary, a resident of Jabbi Toti Dhok.
Police said Gul along with his eight year old brother were fiddling with the gun of their father in their house this afternoon when suddenly a bullet went off and his the legs of Gul.
Injured Gul was rushed to District Hospital, Poonch but he died due to excessive bleeding in the travel.
Police have seized the gun and were investigating the case.
