DODA, July 17: Tehsil Thathri Development Front, (TTDF) Doda have strongly criticized the district administration, Kishtwar for unjustified and exorbitant helicopter fare for Machail yatra-2014.
In a statement issued, president Tehsil Thathri Development Front, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, general secretary Om Raj Bhall and vice president advocate Kanwarjeet Singh Thakur said that the helicopter fare from Gulab Garh (base camp of shrine Machail) has been fixed at Rs 5050 per head to and fro for 7 minutes journey which is quite un-reasonable, unjustified and exorbitant as compared to yatras of other places.
They have appealed concerned authorities for immediate action and refix the helicopter fare for Machail yatra-2014.
Mr Rao urged upon the State and Central Governments that in view of above half dozen universities in Jammu division and Kashmir division, the IIT be opened in between Jammu and Kashmir at any Central place in Chenab Valley so that the poor public of this vast area gets benefitted.
