After a long wait, some rains brought somewhat relief to Jammuites but the mismanagement of the civic authorities, most of the roads and lanes get heaps of garbage and filth strewn which otherwise are deposited in them by the needy ones eager to dispose off the stuff. Polythene bags, wrappers, mango kernels, disposables dressings of slaughtered chickens and what not get over from drains with a slight downpour. The authorities in charge to arrange keeping the city clean especially during rains are caught unawares. When shall the people feel a change at least in matters of sanitation?
