BHADERWAH, July 18: Three idols of the Mata Chandi, Kali and Durga were installed in a newly constructed temple of Mata Chandi at village Chinote, here today.
Before the installation of the idols in the temple, a Kalash Yatra was organized by the Sarv Shakti Sewa Sanstha Bhaderwah from Chinote temple to Shiv Ji temple Gupt Ganga, Vasuki Nag temple Vasuki Dehra, Hanuman temple and Vasuki Nag temple Gatha in which large number of devotees took part.
Earlier, havan-kirtan was also organized in the temple.
A jagran was organized in the temple in which singers Naveen Punjabi, Suresh Chouhan, Komal Sharma and Arvind sang bhajans.
The flowers were showered by the Helicopter on the temple, which was followed by a ‘bhandara’.
It is pertinent to mention here that an ancient and historical Machail Yatra starts from this temple every year on August 18.
