NEW DELHI, July 19: Wheat prices fell further Rs 10 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on increased supplies from producing regions against reduced offtake by flour mills.
However, other grains traded in a narrow range in scattered deals and closed at previous levels.
Traders said increased supplies from producing regions against reduced offtake by flour mills mainly led to the fall in wheat prices.
In the national capital, wheat dara (for mills) shed another Rs 10 to Rs 1,580-1,585 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and enquired lower at Rs 1,585-1,590 per 90 kg.
