Rangmanch stages ‘Aakhir Kyun’

Excelsior Correspondent RAJOURI, July 20: Rangmanch, a theatre group of Pir Panjal region today staged its famous play "Aakhir Kyun" at village Saranoo. The play written and directed by Vishal Sharma was based on the theme of female foeticide, eve teasing, domestic women violence and other social evils. The artists of the play made the audience aware about the ill-effects of social crimes prevailing in the society. The artists through play impressed upon the people to eradicate these social evils along with inequality between boys and girls from roots. A large number of locals from all the age groups and walks of society watched the play. The artists who performed in the play include Vishal Pahari, Anoop Sharma, Amit Singh, Nayeem Ahmed, Waqar and Madhu. The make-up was done by Anil Sharma.
