JAMMU, July 24: As reported exclusively by the Excelsior today on Government’s formal order to create 659 new administrative units, authorities ordered posting of 109 Tehsildars in newly created tehsils in the State.
An order for posting of 109 Tehsildars on the posts of newly created administrative units (tehsils) was issued by the Government today.
While the Government has placed 53 Naib Tehsildars as Incharge Tehsildars, 56 Naib Tehsildars were asked to look after the work of Tehsildars.
The Government would shortly order postings of SDMs for Sub Divisions, BDOs for blocks and Naib Tehsildars for Niabats in the newly created administrative units. The Patwaris for Patwar Halqas would be posted only when the Halqas were formally notified, official sources said.
