JAMMU, July 25: A meeting of Government teachers belonging to various educational zones of the State was held here today wherein they framed a State body in the name and style of “Teachers Guild J&K”.
The meeting was attended by masters, teachers as well as ReT teachers.
The participants unanimously elected Nasir Ahmed Qureshi as president and Vijay Kumar Sharma as general secretary, Mohan Singh Choudhary and Varinder Kumar as vice-presidents, Nasir Latif Mir as joint secretary, Manohar Singh Choudhary as media secretary and Balbir Singh as cashier.
Further, the elected members nominated Narayan Baru as programme coordinator of the Guild.
