NEW DELHI, July 26: Freight rates for 10-tonne pay load section for select destinations improved by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks amidst busy cargo movements.
Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight position of trucks mainly pushed up freight rates for some destinations.
Delhi to Hyderabad and Vijaywada rates moved up by Rs 1,000 to Rs 61,000 and Rs 63,000.
Rates to Banglore and Surat also rose by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 66,000 and Rs 29,000.
