NEW DELHI, July 26: Steady conditions persisted in the wholesale sugar market at national capital today with prices after moving both ways on alternate bouts of buying and selling, finished on previous closing levels.
Besides, restricted arrivals against negligible offtake also helped sugar prices to trade flat, traders said.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal)
Sugar retail markets – Rs 37.00-39.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 (Rs 3,400-3,520); S-30(Rs 3,390-3,500).
Mill delivery: M-30 (Rs 3,180-3,355); S-30 (Rs 3,160-3,335).
