RAJOURI, July 26: People from Kallar village and adjoining areas, held strong protest demonstration against the PDD authorities and suspended movement of traffic on Jammu-Poonch highway for about an hour.
Reports said people from Kallar village today came out on the road at round 11 am and raised barricades. They started demonstration against PDD authorities for imposing long power cuts and disrupted movement of traffic. They were shouting slogans against the local authorities. The traffic remained suspended on the busty highway.
Later, SHO Rajouri reached the spot and pacified the agitating public. The people then lifted dharna and allowed movement of traffic.
