Now there are Assembly Elections in J& K State. Every party is involved whole heartedly in selecting candidates for contesting election. Elaborate security arrangements are being made for the smooth conduct of polls. Parliament election has witnessed good turnout and people in general have shown positive response in the democratic process of the country. Although all separatists appealed for a poll boycott. People of the State are matured enough and participate enthusiastically in the elections. Our State needs development in all sectors. Road connectively has been enlarged so that our remote areas get connected with our towns and cities. People want employment and accountability. We need regular power supply and quality education. Good governance and not corruption and crime. The focus on bread and butter issues needs to be encouraged and the need of the hour is to maintain peace and order in the State so that people elect dedicated candidates for the State Assembly. Only those people should get elected who keep track record of honesty and integrity. People are free to choose and the time has come for the decision and elect the representatives who will stand for the aspirations of the State people and work for their welfare. It should be our endeavour that all of us participate in the elections of our State Assembly so that our State gets a Govt for the good governance.
