JAMMU, July 28: Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Puneet Gupta has acquitted Patwari namely Mustaq Hussain, who was arrested in a trap case as Vigilance Organization failed to prove that the accused demanded and accepted illegal gratification from the complainant.
After hearing Advocate K S Charak for the accused person, Special Judge Anticorruption observed, “looked from any angle the Vigilance Organization has failed to prove that the accused demanded illegal gratification from the complainant and was accepted by him or the amount have been recovered from the accused”.
With these observations, court acquitted the accused of the corruption charges leveled against him.
