Srinagar, July 28: Two laborers have drowned in river Jhelum near Sangam Anantnag on Sunday evening, and their bodies are yet to be recovered.
A police spokesman said two labourers of RAMKAY Constructions Company Shrivind Kumar, aged 21 years, son of Girdari Lal of Shalipader Kishtwar and Bittu Singh, aged 25 years, son of Sher Singh of Kanthi Ramban drowned while bathing near work site at Sangam in Bijbehara.
Police is on job to fish out the bodies of drowned men, he said.
