The Government should lose no time in extending relief benefits to the flood affected people in Jammu region.
The recent floods caused extensive damage to some villages like Dhateryal, Marh, Bagh and other villages in the area.
Though many officials visited the area to take stock of the situation, it is urged here that compensation claim should not get stuck in bureaucratic proceedures and hurdles. Any compensation not received well in time loses relevance. Therefore, it should be ensured that the recepients are genuine and they receive it on time. This will help them restart their lives once again.
