Policy Alzheimer

Sir,
This has reference to the article “NDA afflicted by policy Alzheimer’s? ” by  M P Jairam Ramesh, Daily Excelsior dt.  Jul 29 . True that the current government has continued and even  extended  the  ongoing  programmes  of the previous regime. Every facet of infrastructure be it roads, railways, airports, , power, potable water supply, sanitation etc., whatever you may conceive , is unable to cater to the demands of our huge and ever exploding population.  The kitty being limited leeway lies only in appropriation and, per force, in arranging FDI. Expertise too could be a factor.
Under these circumstances even if we could request the Great lord Bramah to come down from  His abode and govern this part of the world, I am sure He too cannot work miracles.
Conscious of the fact that over forty percent of our population comprising of all hues and shades lives below poverty line, we were always fed with rhetoric of differentiating between them ignoring the fact that poverty knows no barriers; perhaps the listeners got sick of it.
The next was the tumbling down of innumerable skeletons from the cupboards of the Delhi Club; they left no domain untouched, be it land, mines, railways, oil and natural gas, spectrum, games   etc.  A lot of work has been generated for CBI, the courts and the associated agencies. There and many other familiar factors known to all.
Once  Mr. Manmohan Singh, the Ex. Governor of Reserve Bank of India and the Finance Minister of ’90s took over as the PM, hopes of Indians went up exponentially but subsequently, seeing  him hamstrung, took a dip pushing the electorate into seeking a change.
Yours etc…..
