This refers to the editorial of 28th July 2014 titled ‘Havoc of cloud burst’. It is interesting to note that you have hailed the role played by Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, We too welcome such speedy action, but the revenue authorities should have visited lanes and by lanes of Anant Vihar, Geeta Colony, Nand Bab Lanes on Gajansoo Main road where people could not come out from their houses due to choked and water logged lanes. It is requested to the concerned authorities to inspect these areas too where water has entered many houses and shops. During rains our houses seem to be in island like situation as water logging takes place.
