JAMMU, July 15: The residents of Udaywala have demanded upgradation of 100 kv a transformer to 250 kv and construction of community hall in the area. A delegation of residents of the area led by Rashtriyawadi Shivsena general secretary, Vikas Dewan met MLA Raipur Damana Bharat Bhushan today and apprised him of the problems of the people of the area. The MLA assured delegation that steps will be taken for early upgradation of transformer.
The delegation also submitted a memorandum to him demanded upgradation of transformer and construction of community hall in Udaywala area. It informed the MLA that since the 100 kv transformer is not able to cater to the needs of the residents of the locality in view of the increasing population and construction of more houses the steps be taken for upgradation of the same immediately to 250 kv capacity.
