KISHTWAR, Aug 3: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu along with IGP Jammu Rajesh Kumar, DC Kishtwar Mohd Javed Khan, SSP Kishtwar Sanjay Kotwal and Machhail Yatra Officer Kartar Singh visited the holy shrine of Machhail to review the yatra arrangements.
Mr Shantmanu held interactions with the members of Sarva Shakti Sevak Sanstha and yatries at Machhail Bhawan and took stock of arrangements regarding accommodation, medical facilities, drinking water, langars, and other essential commodities. Security arrangements along the entire yatra route were also reviewed by IGP .
The members of Sarva Shakti Sevak Sanstha Kishtwar informed them that daily thousands of yatries are visiting Machhail to have darshan of Mata Chandi Devi.
The Chhari Mubarak will reach Kishtwar on 18th of August and on 19th it will proceed towards Gulabgarh Padder. On 20th, the Chhari, enroute to holy shrine of Maa Chandi, will stay at Massu, on 21st at Chishoti and on 22nd of August it will reach Machhail.
The Divisional Commissioner gave necessary instructions to district administration Kishtwar for the peaceful and smooth conduct of yatra.
Machhail Yatra Officer Kartar Singh informed that 2044 yatries have performed darshan at Machhail Shrine upto 2nd August 2014.
