JAMMU, Aug 4: In a petition filed by the father of young boy, who was allegedly killed in police custody after being projected as Pakistani militant, High Court today directed Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar to file latest status report in the case.
After hearing Advocate SS Ahmed appearing for the petitioner whereas Senior AAG Gagan Basotra for the respondents, Justice Tashi Rabstan observed, “in the compliance report filed by AAG HA Siddiqui on May 1, 2014 it was contended that final report from CDFD Hyderabad was still awaited as such Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar is directed to file latest status in the matter by or before August 25”.
