NEW DELHI, Aug 7: Crude palm oil softened 0.14 per cent to Rs 504 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amidst sluggish spot market demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in September declined by 70 paise, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 504 per 10 kg in business turnover of 6 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in August weakened by 20 paise, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 513.80 per 10 kg in 6 lots.
Market analysts said besides profit-booking by speculators at prevailing higher levels, sluggish demand in the spot market, mainly helped crude palm oil prices to trade lower at futures trade. (PTI)
