Unemployed dental surgeons suspend chain hunger strike, to continue dharna

JAMMU, Aug 9: On the assurance of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the unemployed dental surgeons suspended their chain hunger strike but will continue their dharna, which entered 40th day today.
Bharat Choudary, PDP candidate from Jammu East constituency along with Vikram Singh, Ashok Jogi, Girish Sharma, Rafiq Malik, Sachin Sharma and Gourav Sharma visited the dharna site of dental surgeons, who were protesting for permanent job policy, absorption of unemployed dental surgeons and establish separate directorate for dental health in the State.
Mufti assured the youth that if PDP Government will form the next Government in the State after Assembly elections, his party will fulfill all their demands in the time bound manner. He appealed the youth to become instrument to lead the change in J&K and wipe our anti youth Government from political map.
Later, Bharat Chowdhary offered juice to agitating dental surgeons, who later suspended their chain hunger strike.
While speaking, Chairman of the association Dr Pawan Singh Jasrotia said that they suspended their chain hunger strike but will continue their protest till their demands are redressed.
