BLSKS presents ‘Maa Ka Dudh’ during Saturday Theatre Series

JAMMU, Aug 9: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with Ek Sath Rang Mandal presented “Maa Ka Dudh”, during its 11th Saturday Theatre Series to celebrate World Breast Feeding Week.
The play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The music was composed by Raju Bajgal.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department, who was the chief guest on the occasion in presence of VK Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Vijay Malla, Writer, Producer and Director of IPTA, Romesh Chander, Event Director and RK Dogra, International Music Therapist.
The renowned artists namely KL Verma, KK Joshi,  MC Kotwal, Neelam Gandotra, Gouri lal , Kamli Devi, Tilak Raj, Hem Raj, Zulekha Farid, Kuldeep Raj and Avtar Kour presented various cultural programmes, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Dr Tara Singh Charak while speaking highlighted the importance of breast feeding.
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by ML Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS, whereas in the end VK Magotra presented vote of thanks.
Renowned anchor Rajni Sharma conducted the proceedings of the programme.
Among others present were RP Amla, Ashok Mattoo, Daleep Singh, Sunil Bhat, Raman Koul, Nanak Chand, JK Bhat, Deepak Kumar Dogra, Raju Mad, Shivani Disgotra, Akshay Bhat, Bhoomika Chib, Kanta Sharma, Neelam Chib, Deevam Jandiyal, Rakshit Sharma, Druv Pandit, Nazuk, Anuroop Pathania, Rakesh Katoch and Rajni Gupta.
