JAMMU, Aug 10: Prof Bhim Singh has made a strong appeal to all those friends and colleagues who left the party for one reason or another to return to the Panthers Party so that the movement of Jammu Statehood is strengthened and the people of Jammu as well as Kashmir and Ladakh may get liberation from the communal, criminal, corrupt and authoritarian rulers.
Addressing a press conference this morning, Prof Bhim Singh, NPP chief patron said that three state formula is the only way out to find a lasting resolution to the problems of the State.  Prof Singh said that once it is done, the reunion of the State shall grow inevitable, Jammu State shall extend from Muzaffrabad to Kishtwar and Lakhanpur to Banihal Tunnel.
In reply to the question, Prof Singh said that, “the truth is people of Jammu & Kashmir have been suffering because of three families, National Conference, Congress and BJP.  Each one tried to divide the people only to keep their chairs safe and power under control.  He said BJP (earlier Jansang then Janta Party and presently BJP) has been playing in hands of Kashmiri rulers rather has been exploiting the helplessness of the people of Jammu Pradesh only to earn their business and create vote bank by the division”.
In reply to another question, Prof Singh said, “I felt terribly hurt and find no words to express my feelings on the issue of Maharaja Hari Singh’s grandson joining a Kashmiri Party whose leadership has its roots in National Conference and the Congress.  It was National Conference which started the movement with the help of the Congress in 1946, ‘Quit Kashmir’ against the Dogra Rulers.  How the 3rd generation of the Dogra Rulers shall justify their act, let history judge it”.
The others present in the press conference were Anita Thakur and H C Jalmeria, general secretaries, Bansi Lal Sharma, political advisor JKNPP, Jagdev Singh, coordination secretary and S Paramjeet Singh Marshal, provincial vice-president.
