SRINAGAR, Aug 12: A bear mauled a lady to death in Ahalan Gadool, Kokernag.
A 40 year old lady Zaina Begum wife of Farooq Ahmad Gigi resident of Ahlan Bala Gadool, Kokernag, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag was attacked by a bear at Ahalan Gadool. She received sever injuries in the attack and was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries. The body of the deceased was handed over to her next of kins for last rites.
