SRINAGAR, Aug 16: A residential building and two shops were partially damaged today afternoon in a fire in commercial area of Koker Bazar here.
Eye witnesses said that the fire mysteriously appeared in a residential building in the congested locality and immediately spread to two nearby shops.
A police spokesman said two structures were damaged in two separate fire incidents elsewhere. He said the residential house of Abass Nathoo son of Ghulam Hyder of Ashai Bagh in Nigeen, resulting in Minor damage to the house.
Fire also broke out in the house of Abdul Sultan Ganaie son of Abdul Razak of Kasba Devsar in Devsar, Kulgam, resulting in Partial damage to the structure.
