Free physiotherapy camp held

JAMMU, Aug 17: A free physiotherapy camp was jointly organized by Help Age India and Jammu College of Physiotherapy (JCP) in the premises of St Xavier Convent High School, Barnai.
The camp was inaugurated by HR Padha, Director of the school in presence of Sunita Santoshi, senior Manager Help Age India Jammu.
A team of doctors headed by Dr Navinder Pal Singh, Principal, JCP along with Dr Rishu and Dr Rashi Chandan and others examined as many as 210 beneficiaries including elders, students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
The camp focused to sensitize the beneficiaries regarding the various health problems that gradually develop as a result of faulty postural habits and to screen the patients requiring further referral. Onsite physiotherapy treatment sessions using modern equipment was provided to the patients and home regime exercise were demonstrated to the patients.
