JAMMU, Aug 18: Ek Sath Rang Manch (ESRM) in collaboration with BLSKS, Janipur (Jammu), today staged a Hindi play “Apeney Bachoon Ko Jaaniye” in its Monday theatre series.
The play “Apeney Bachoon Ko Jaaniye” serves an eye opener for the parents who usually remain careless about the activities, habits, likings and whereabouts of their children. The play suggests parents to be aware of their children’s friend circle, associations and good/bad habits.
The play teaches that parents should appreciate and encourage any kind of talent within their children. “Parents should know their children’s interest, liking or choice. Every child has got its future image whether he wants to become a painter, actor, dancer, army officer, sportsman, singer, police officer or a doctor. We cannot force our choice on them”, the play asserts.
It advised parents to encourage their children for extra-curricular activities. “Apeney Bachoon Ko Jaaniye” is a slogan oriented nukkud form with a drama element when a father asks his daughter what she wants to become in future. The daughter replies, “Prime Minster of India”.
The actors who performed in the play were Hemraj, MC Kotwal, Bhanu Partap Singh, Rakesh Katoch, Kanta Sharma, Shallu Kumar, Nisha Jotshi, Karishma, Quarat-Ull-Ain, Nazuk, Laksh Bali, Harsh Vardhan Abrol and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
