JAMMU, Aug 18: National Conference senior leader, Liaqat Ali addressed a public meeting at Nagrota today to take stock of the problems faced by the people in the area.
A large number of people attended the meeting and addressed their problems, besides assuring the leader of their full support in the forthcoming elections.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Ali said that despite being just 10 kilometers from Jammu City, Nagrota town has time and again been neglected by the authorities, especially the sitting MLA.
NC leader assured the people that he will leave no stone unturned in redressing the problems of the area as soon as he gets elected in the coming elections.
Lavishing praise for Omar Abdullah Government, Mr Ali said that it was only the present Govt which has the capacity to take the revolutionary step of ‘pahadi reservation’.
