POONCH, Aug 18: Amidst ceasefire violations on border and heightened tension between the two countries, sixty four persons crossed Line of Control (LoC) at Chakkan-Da-Bagh through Karvan-e-Aman weekly bus service between two divided parts of the State, here today. Even as 37 new guests from Pakistan entered Indian territory, there was no fresh visitor from this side to PoK.
The bus from India to other side, carried total 25 persons and all of them were Pakistanis who were returning to their country. The Karvan-e-Aman from Pakistan to India carried 39 passengers, among whom 37 were fresh visitors and two returnee Indians.
