RAJOURI, Aug 21: Senior NC leader and NC candidate for upcoming Legislative Assembly Polls, Choudhary Liaqat Ali today conducted a tour of Budhal area of the district and took stock of the grievances being faced by the people.
The NC leader visited various areas of the Budhal including Gabbar, Bathan and Hayan, interacted with the people and listened their problems. He assured the people that heavy losses of their crops and livestock due to recent rain storms should be compensated appropriately. He also asserted that KCC loan of the affected farmers must be waived off.
He also attended a largely attended public meeting at Dramman in Budhal where a dozens of PDP workers beside Congress workers joined NC after quitting their respective parties.
While addressing the meeting, Choudhary Liaqat Ali said public of Budhal is deprived of basic facilities like electricity, water, ration etc because of criminal negligence of MLA and their double standard policies. He said PDP aims only for power and dilution of autonomy of J&K but it will never succeed in his mission.
He said NC has brought Tehsil status back to Budhal and given long deserving reservation to Paharis independently, which is testimony to the fact that NC is committed to uplift the weaker sections of the State.
The NC leader said that in case of victory, he will bring prosperity and development of Budhal Darhal area and will leave no corner of constituency undeveloped.
Molvi Abdul Rashid, District vice-president, Ghulam Mohidin, Block president and Abdul Rashid, Block secretary among others also accompanied Choudhary Liaqat Ali.
