MLA smells rat in transfer of teachers from Khour to Bhalwal block

JAMMU, Aug 22: The MLA Raipur Damana, Bharat Bushan has taken a serious exception to transfer of teachers from Block Khour to Raipur Domana on the political reasons.
The MLA who took up the issue with Secretary cum Commissioner Education, Director School Education, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Chief Education Officer, Jammu and Zonal Education Officer has warned against relieving these teachers and demanded that all orders be kept in abeyance.
Smelling a rat in the transfer of teachers from Khour block to Bhalwal block in Raipur Domana, Constituency, Mr Bushan said this was done keeping in view the coming Assembly elections by the concerned Minister to create large number of vacancies in the block and fill up the same on contractual basis and mislead the unemployed youth of the block.
The MLA said that there is no fun of transferring the teachers from one block to another block especially those who were appointed as ReTs because their appointment was made to fill up the shortage of teachers in their own area to which they belong.
Besides by transferring the teachers from the Khour the posts have been kept vacant to fill up them on contractual basis or through ReT keeping an eye on coming elections.
He said the transfers have been made by the Department on the behest of the Minister to create vacancies of hundreds of posts of teachers in that block and fill up the same on contractual basis prior to elections to mislead people and seek their vote.
Terming it a serious issue Bharat Bushan demanded a probe into the matter and warned against transfer of teachers from Khour block to Bhalwal block enmass. He said why only teachers form Khour block were transferred to Bhalwal block  and why not from other blocks.
It may be recalled that CEO Jammu has made transfers of a large number of teachers from Khour block to Bhalwal block.
