JAMMU, Aug 24: A young man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his home at Sidhra in City outskirts, a police spokesman said.
He said the youth has been identified as Vicky (27) son of Victor. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition is stated to be stable, he added.
However, it was not known why he took this extreme step.
The concerned Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
