JAMMU, Aug 26: State president Bahujan Samaj Party Tulsi Dass Langeh expressed serious concern over the non-payment of scholarship for the year of 2012-13 under the Prime Minister Special Scholar Scheme (PMSSS) of some students of State studying in different institutions.
The president said that the scholarship under the PM Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for J&K has been announced for the year of 2014-15. BSP leader urged upon the concerned highups of PMSSS for releasing the scholarship for the year 2012-13 of such students, who have not received their scholarship for the year of 2012-13 so far, so that they could continue their studies.
He added that the students are facing great hardship.
Others present in the meeting were R L Chargotra, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, Mohinder Kashyap, Mohd Ashraf, Behari Lal Digra, Dalbir Singh etc.
