No security threat to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi yatris

SRINAGAR, Aug 27:    Government today said there is no specific security threat to the yatris at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan as adequate security arrangements are already in place.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who holds the Home Ministry’s portfolio, informed the Legislative Council in response to a written question raised by Congress MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma.
Omar said the security arrangements which are in place are being reviewed from time to time as per the requirement.
