ICDRC appoints Dr Prabhakar as senior consultant

JAMMU, Aug 29: International Committee for Development and Regional Co-Operation (ICDRC) has appointed Dr NC Prabhakar as senior consultant with the objective to assist in their diverse activities, programmes and projects towards the fulfillment of aims, objective and function of ICDRC.
Dr Prabhakar is a retired Government officer and has worked for 26 years on various administrative posts in the State Government like Officer on Special Deputy with Chief Secretary, OSD in the Chief Minister Secretariat, Secretary Scheduled Caste Development Corporation, Women Development Corporation and Secretary, Gujjar Bakarwal Advisor Board.
After retirement, he remained associated with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India as National Level Monitor and member of Indian Institute of Public Administration, Youth Hostel Association of India. He worked as Liaison Officer for the Voluntary Health Association of India for high level advocacy on Tobacco Control Programme.
Presently, he is working as resource person for the International Union for TB and organizing awareness programme on Tobacco Control. The appointment letter has been issued by Ashutosh Sharma, Executive Director & CEO of ICDRC.
