JAMMU, Aug 30: A meeting of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust (SKJAVST) was held in Raipur Domana in the presidentship of trust president Mahant Rohit Shastri.
In this meeting an issue was raised regarding the development of Sanskrit language and its development in Jammu and Kashmir provinces. Mahant Rohit Shastri wanted to draw the attention of State Government that in Sanskrit department of Jammu University as well as Kashmir University all the research work, papers, learning as well as reading is done in Hindi language.
The Sanskrit department has just the name of Sanskrit but all its working is done in Hindi language.
On this occasion, the president of Brahman Sabha, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Pt Dev Dutt Shastri, Pt Sunil Shastri, Pt Sumit Shastri, Pt Bushan Shastri, Senior Advocate Pawan Khajuria and other Sanskrit Scholars were present.
