BJP flays SSRB

JAMMU, Sept 4: Terming the decision of Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) to hike the fee of candidates applying for various posts as totally unjustified and an attempt to prevent a large number of educated unemployed youth from availing the opportunity to apply for advertised posts, BJP State spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan said that SSRB should adopt a humane approach towards the youth desirous to apply for these posts.
In a statement issued here, today he said many of these youth belong to poor and down trodden families who can’t even afford the two times meal for their survival.
While referring to various posts advertised by SSRB last month, Balbir Ram said that demanding Rs 400 as fee for each post indicates that the State’s recruiting agency is converting itself into a business unit whose sole focus is to mint money for the NC -Congress defunct coalition.
