JAMMU, Sept 4: Government today constituted district level committees for quarterly review of under-trial cases pending in courts.
According to an order issued by the Home Department, Principal District and Session Judge will be the Chairman of the Committee, whereas District Magistrate concerned, District Superintendent of Police, Chief Prosecuting Officer concerned will be the members and Superintendent of the Prisons concerned will be the member secretary.
