Mess in Education Department

Sir,
One feels highly dejected, frustrated and depressed while going  through the affairs of our Education Department. Our leaders and administrators always talk very high about the functioning of Govt machinery. But the reality is somewhat different when one is practically involved in this hatch-patch and confused state of affairs.
Masters in the  Education Department were promoted as I/c lecturers vide Govt order dated 26th Feb 2014 in the disciplines of Economics, Education, Sociology, Maths, History Pol. Science etc. They reported in the Directorate office for further adjustment. But after a lapse of about seven months these I/c lecturers have not been adjusted in spite of the fact that their credentials have since been verified. Again some 60-70 lecturers from Leh were transferred in the month of May 2014. But their adjustment orders have not been issued till date.
Most of our Higher Sec. Schools are without lecturers. Our bureaucrats do not understand the gravity of the situation. The career of many students is at the stake. Nobody is going to shoulder this responsibility. Our schools in the winter zones are at the close of their academic session. Students of the summer zones schools  are in their peak session. Under these circumstances both are at a huge loss. Students are without their subject teachers and lecturers are just running from pillar to post for their adjustment. Keeping a good number of lecturers  idle is a great loss to our State exchequer. Our leaders always claim of work culture. They talk of quality education. If such is the state of affairs of our department then Dooms day for Education Department is very near.
Yours etc…
