NEW DELHI, Sept 6: Cashew prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists.
Further, tight stocks following fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to conclude at at Rs 825-835, Rs 725-735 Rs 680-700 and Rs 560-580 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from growing regions, mainly pushed up cashew prices to rise.

Almond (California) Rs 19,500, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 8,200-8,500; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 4,800-5,000; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-24,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 665-690 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 500-580 per kg. (PTI)
