JAMMU, Sept 8: BJP senior leaders Chander Mohan Sharma and Balkrishen Koul visited the right side of Bank of Tawi where a number of jugies were washed away by the flood waters of river.
They said the surging water of river over flow the bank and washed away the cattle. Inmates of Jugies have narrow escape. The flood sufferers have been temporarily given shelter in a mosque, they added.
The BJP leaders alleged that the authorities who are linked to disaster management have not come to see and help these affected people who have nothing to eat. They also do not have clothing and fuel etc to cook. The authorities should come to their rescue and extend them succor needed at this time on the humanitarian grounds.
