BGM urges Centre to enhance relief package for J&K

JAMMU, Sept 8: Alleging that the relief package announced by the Centre for J&K is too less for the relief and rehabilitation of flood affected people, Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha (BGM) has demanded the Central Government to enhance the package.
Ishfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal, president, Bhartiya Gujjar Mahasabha, while making a statement appreciated the timely assistance of Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Army, Para Military forces and the local administration to the people of the State but at the same time he urged PM to enhance the relief package.
Poswal also termed the PM’s offer of help to the flood affected people of the PoK an exemplary deed showing his concern for the people of the State.
He appealed the State Government for providing shelter, food and other facilities besides immediate disbursement of relief packages to the flood victims.
