JKMSS demands immediate relief for flood victims

JAMMU, Sept 8: Expressing sorrow and grief over the loss of lives and properties due to unprecedented rains in the State, All Jammu and Kashmir Mahasha Sadar Sabha (JKMSS), has demanded immediate rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the affected people.
In a meeting of the Sabha, all the members appreciated the efforts of both State and Central Government in reaching the people for mitigating their miseries and urged for further intensifying the rescue and rehabilitation operations.
They also demanded that adequate compensation be provided to those whose houses, crops and other properties were damaged in unprecedented rains and floods.
