JAMMU, Sept 8: Anant Chaturdashi was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety today.
In this connection functions were held at different places in Jammu.
On the occasion the relic of Mata Roop Bhawani was displayed for the darshan of the devotees at Roop Bhawani temple Sharda Colony, Patoli Brahmana. A grand function was held in the temple under the supervision of Avtar Krishan Dhar the Founder Trustee of the Temple Committee.
The devotees were served with the prashad also. During the day long celebrations Bhajan Kirtan was also performed.
Swami Kumar Ji also participated in the function.
Another function was held by the devotees from Anantnag at Swami Mahesh Bharti Ashram here. On the occasion a Hawan was also performed and the devotees were served with Prashad after Puranahuti.
