JAMMU, Sept 9: Mystery shrouds the death of a person whose dead body was seen hanging with a tree in Narayanpur Border village in Ramgarh Sector.
He was identified as Ranjit Singh, S/o Jodh Singh of village Jedrah.
His family members said that Ranjit had left his house yesterday to water his paddy and did not return.
Some villagers saw his body hanging with a tree in the morning and they informed the police. A team of Ramgarh Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem. The Ramgarh police has registered a case under Section 174.
