JPF initiates donation camp for flood victims

JAMMU, Sept 10: Coming forward to help the victims of floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu People’s Forum (JPF) today appealed all the citizens of Jammu to extend a helping hand in this regard.
Addressing a press conference, renowned educationist and JPF president, Deepak Handa said that they have taken initiative and installed a relief collection camp at Gandhi Nagar area to collect the donation for floods victims and later it will be distribute among the victims of this worst natural calamity at Jammu, Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi and Kashmir.
“I appeal to all the people of Jammu that cutting across their party affiliation, kindly come forward to help our own people, who are in big trouble,” said Handa.
Mehta, who also accompanied Handa in the press conference, said that many people have already started donating at the donation collection counters, started today.
Others present in the press conference, included Dr Rajinder Manhas, Sanjay Kohli and Manu Malhotra.
